Spot on with everything dealing with my spine issues. Dr. Spayed also performed spine surgery on my husband with rave results.
Dr. Spayde, and his PA staff, may be highly qualified in this specialty, however he's not the only highly qualified orthopedic spine specialist in the Conejo Valley and today, 9/13/2023 (2:30 PM), the front office was discourteous enough to me to the point that I left and will be using a different orthopedic spine specialist for my needs. My mentioning the discourtesy in the reception of this office is not the only mention.
The receptionist does not have a basic manner to greet or talk to a patient in pain (all patients came to this office must be in pain of some sort. She should not be sitting there at the window (or in the office at all).
I have been a patient at the St. Charles Spine Institute for almost 6 years. Dr Erik Spayde performed a successful spine surgery on my lower back in May 2022. In my opinion, he is one of the best at what he does. Sometimes, being the best has its disadvantages such as overconfidence, excessive pride and hubris. Dr Spayde and his staff are very professional and caring. Their state of the art approach to spinal surgery is second to none. I feel completely comfortable in the care of Dr Spayde and his team!
Dr. Spayde is an amazing surgeon
5 star all the way! Had lumbar surgery in May and am almost at 100%. Pain free. Every one there was extremely helpful. Dr Spayde and his PA top notch all the way!
After I got scolded by a rude office receptionist for not being 20 minutes early (hey then give me my appointment 20 minutes earlier) I got there on time. After 20 min wait I was called in the office where I waited in pain an unable to seat down for another 50 minutes. Finally after saying I was leaving he came with no apology or remorse.
