I went in and discussed all the issues I had going on. Despite 2 sports medicine doctors, a neurologist, 2 shoulder surgeons, and a cervical spine surgeon, he contradicted all of them. Claimed no feraminal stenosis or cervical radiculopathy, yet all the symptoms I gave him pointed to that exactly (what the other list of doctors agreed I did have). Dr. Eric Deal is paid by work comp insurance companies to provide falsified and minimalized information to discredit injured workers. He performs "independent" medical examinations, requested in a case against injured workers, and is paid handsomely by disgusting work comp insurers for his "exam". I put exam in quotes because what he does is minimal, at best. DO NOT TRUST HIM.

Aug. 25, 2020 - Absolutely recommend Dr Deal for ACDF surgery. I used Dr. Deal as a second opinion. Was highly impressed with the time he spent with me and the great detail he went through to review and understand my condition. Dr Deal thoroughly reviewed condition and previous therapies, took time to explain condition, surgical procedures, expected outcome and recovery. Skillful and compassionate surgeon. Assistant Alyssa also outstanding coordinating protocols, communicating details and reassuring anxious patients.
I had fusion surgery, C7-T1, on February 27th. I was in a lot of pain over the last two years in my upper back and traveling down my right arm. My treatment plan over the last two years was chiropractic care, therapy, and ibuprofen. My pain got so bad in early February this year that I was unable to work, sleep, or enjoy time with family. Dr Deal was clear about expectations, explained things very well, wasn't a high and mighty "MDeity" and best of all, did a great job at removing a very painful herniated disc in a difficult situation. Healing was fast and uncomplicated.

My disc replacement performed by Dr. Deal and his team was life-changing. I had a herniated disc that was causing tremendous pain in my shoulder and arm. I had to stand all day at work (which is normally a desk job), I couldn't dance or ride my bike, or do any of the physical things I love. The new disc alleviated my pain and it was a quick recovery. I highly recommend Dr. Deal and his team. They gave me my life back!
