I would recommend Dr. Aaron A. Cohen-Gadol. He is a very caring doctor. He explains things to you and will do the best that he can. I appreciate everything he has done for me. Thank you for a great job on my surgery.

Dr. Cohen is simply fantastic. I had a large pituitary tumor (over 4cm) that was diagnosed in August. I met with a local neurosurgeon who, upon reviewing my MRI, stated he was not comfortable operating due to the growth, placement, etc. I was referred to Dr. Cohen who reviewed my scans and gave me reassurance that he could help and could remove a large majority of my tumor. I was scheduled for surgery within 2 months of diagnosis. He essentially held my hand every step of the way. He was in the surgical recovery room when I ... read more

Made my appointment 2 months in advance. I got a call an hour before I was to be there that my appointment was being canceled. I live 2+ hours from Indianapolis and I drove up the night before since I had an early morning appointment. I was told not to bother rescheduling because, based on a 2 page report, nothing could be done to help....a 2 page report, not mri images, not a patient history, current symptoms-a 2 page report. Didn't get any apology for my inconvenience or travel expenses. VERY DISAPPOINTING-Iguess I'm just ... read more

I traveled almost 2 hours to see Dr. Pots, I was highly disappointed. My reason for the visit was in hopes to find out about the new Premia "Tops" procedure, which keeps motion of the spine instead of the traditional fusion. I had to bring it up myself. He blew it off, "that won't be FDA approved for 6 months or so". That was that, Dr. Pots didn't even promote it or give any information for the "Tops". He was also very arrogant!!! My husband noticed that as well. Live and learn, wasted gas and waste of time. I would rather t... read more

What a wonderful Doctor. I have a very sick brother and had been sent home from 2 other hospitals with no answers and no help. His knowledge and expertise has been a huge blessing to our family! We finally got the answers we were desperately working so hard to find

We traveled over 500 miles to see Dr. Cohen. We had such high hopes but we were very disappointed. In addition, we payed for the appointment out of pocket as my insurance doesn’t cover out of state care. He seemed dismissive and disinterested. Based on his reviews this doesn’t sound like his normal approach, so maybe he was having a bad day. Still…I left in tears and felt so unvalidated.

Business response:

Dear Annette: My patients are my highest priority. I just saw this note and re-reviewed your chart. I do remember that I offered you surgery and wanted to help you in every way I can. I am extremely sorry if this was not understood. You are welcome to contact us again if you wish and we will do what it takes to provide you with a great service.

I came to this surgeon due to a walking issue and he took the time and effort to do everything possible to get to the root of the problem. All I can say is his skills are top notch, before, during and after the surgery. Before and after my surgery he listened and explained all things involved with my procedure. Would recommend him to anyone who has problems that can be helped by his field of expertise.

Dr Savage and his team did a complete reconstruction of my husbands back from T11 down to the Sacrum, a 9 hour surgery within the same week of our initial consult due to the urgency of the situation. Dr Savage was absolutely amazing in communication and diligence with his team and the strategy they came up with to to keep my husband from being in a wheelchair at 50 years old. Dr Savage is known throughout the State and Industry as being the best at what he does and i can't say enough about him, he did an amazing job before, ... read more
