Had to have both knees replaced due to OsteoArthritis. I was in pain, walking bone on bone. Had BOTH knees done at the same time and couldn't have made a better decision. Dr. Monesmith explained everything that would happen and that the recovery would be 3 months, (doing one knee or both). Just do the exercises! Was back to work in 3 months. I recommend Dr. Monesmith and his staff at OrthoIndy to everyone.

During both my appointments with Dr. Monesmith, he was very thorough and spent time answering questions for both my husband and I. We appreciated his honesty and down to earth attitude, and felt he truly cared about our concerns.

Very dismissive. Doesn't listen to you at all. Doesn't seem to care about you at all. Wants to get in and out as fast as he can. Directs you to his website and little else.

Dr.Monesmith was dismissive of my concerns. Told me to come back when I was ready for surgery. Handed me a paper with his website on it. When I inquired about physical therapy, he told me to go to his website. This appointment was a total waste of time and money.

I injured my knees 40 yrs ago but being wife mom and nurse put off till lt knee bending in and bone on bone. Dr. Monesmith did Lt TKR it is wonderful he is amazing did DNA swab to find what medication best for me. All staff went above and beyond Taking care of me . I'm 64 yrs old my 1 st surgery. Can't say enough how great
Dr. Bales did surgery on my husband's left shoulder. His nurse was friendly and helpful. Dr. Bales was prompt and very informative. His office staff set up surgery and called several times before the day of surgery. Dr. Bales came into room before surgery and made sure my husband was ok and went through procedure again. Surgery was over and we went home impressed with everything. Two days later on a Sunday, Dr. Bales personally called to check on my husband. Dr.Bales is an AMAZING doctor.
Dr. Bales performed shoulder surgery on my left shoulder. I had lost the use of my left arm due to an injury over 3 months prior to surgery. He was very informative, and helpful throughout the process and has made a tremendous impact on my life and ability to regain use of my arm. He takes the time to talk to you and address any concerns or issues you might have. I highly recommend this physician!
Dr. Monesmith is an excellent Dr. Explains everything very well. Recovery time was minimal after hip replacement. Would diffently recommend him as your Dr.
I have been seeing Dr Miller for 4 years.now due to a lower back injury As a career fireman he understands the physical rigors of my job and is extremely helpful with pain reduction ideas, workouts, injections etc. He is a super nice doctor with a great bedside manner. I highly recommend.
