Slow, rude... – I went to get an updo several months ago. 2 hours after my appointment started, instead of walking out with fab hair, my hair was still in curlers. The curling process alone took 1.5 hours and only 1 other customer was there. When I finally got the blessing of the main hairdresser's attention he spent another 30 minutes "fussing" with my hair and did precisely what I had asked him not to do with the style. Great experience, awesome hair cut – I have been looking for a good stylist since I moved to SF 4 years ago. I have tried them all from bargain priced to shockingly expensive. I walked into Episode one Saturday because it is a block from my house and I really needed a haircut. Well, let's just say I found my stylist! Steffan spent 2 hours giving me the best haircut I have ever had. I went in feeling frumpy and left feeling ultra stylish. 3 weeks later the cut still looks great. great hair salon – This is definitely a good salon. A bit hard to find, but once you're there, you're well taken care of. I was very happy.
Excellent Japanese Straight Perm – I had a Japanese straight perm from Episode Salon and absolutely love it. They offered me a free consultation and explained in detail the process. The price was also quite reasonable compared to the downtown salons. It was 4 hours long, but worth it. The employees were very attentive and nice and even bought lunch and beverages for me. My hair looks perfectly straight and smooth without wasting my time blowdrying.
You'll Love Your Hair! – I've been going to Episode for several months and Steffon is great, great, great! Finding a new hairstylist was stressful, but Steffon listens to what I want, makes suggestions that always work, and best of all I get lots of compliments on my hair. His salon is very relaxing and upscale without all of the hype and pretense of downtown salons. He is expertly trained and I trust him. I highly recommend Steffon and the entire staff at Episode.
Loved it – I was really happy at Episode. I look forward to the washing of my hair because of the head massage I get. They're prompt with my appointment time and always offering me something to drink. I can call in at pretty much any time and Steffon is always eager to fit me in. He cuts my hair with precision....it looks good every time. I'm always satisfied with my cut.
