With a gorgeous view of the Oakland Bay Bridge, the interior of Epic Roasthouse is a stunning accomplishment by famed restaurant entrepreneur Pat Kuleto. There are large windows, rich fabrics, and a large fireplace making the restaurant warm and inviting. A very busy place, if you don't have reservations the wait can be quite long. Luckily there is a full bar upstairs at which you can wait and have a selection of fine wines or cocktails. For dinner try the A5 Miyazaki Wagyu Steak or the Tuscan Style Porterhouse Steak.

With a reservation, our table for 5 was a breeze. Dinner doesn't begin until 5:30p but the Quiver Bar upstairs was already packed and buzzing with evening goers. The decor is splendid with a quasi-maritime/mill house milleu. This is not a steak house for the faint of wallet. The 9oz New York starts at $49 and the 32oz with Lobster for Two is a whopping $230. Epic has one of the most relaxing setting to eat at. Service is always wonderful. The food is always the best quality. The view while eating is spectacular. When I come to eat here, I am always relaxed that everything will be taken care of. I highly recommend this place to anyone local or visiting

As a local (and frequent guest) I oftentimes sit at the chefs counter and chat with the friendly and knowledgeable staff. I appreciate the sense of camaraderie and familiarity, while enjoying my favorite "craft your own salad" topped with my favorite protein of the day!
