Rented a car for today ***** went to pick it up and they inform me there is no rental for me and I would have to wait 2 days before being able to receive a car. They want me to do it in there because it cost more money online and if there is lag in the system than they need to figure something out that won't reserve if there is no vehicles available. I was needing a car rental to travel for numerous business meetings totally $20,000 in potential service calls. Enterprise has a website to ************. I used the site and originally they didn't have a car for the day I requested so in pushed back another day to when they did have a car. I had a reservation for a car 3 weeks prior and when 2 hours before picking up they called me that they didnt have a car yet but should have one at noon and they asked me to call them back in an hour. I called back they put me on hold for 53 minutes then they hanged up. I tried to call them back but the office was closed. I called their customer service they said theres nothing they can do. Because of this I lost a meeting and I will had to pay significant more money for travel transportation
Enterprise rent a car is overcharging customers for car rentals and insurance companies get cars for little of nothing
Horrible customer service. I was involved in a no fault accident and have been waiting months to receive any communication from enterprise. Ive gotten several emails, but no one has reached out to me except once to finalize this claim; the one time I was contacted very vague information was provided. *** tried several times to contact the claim adjuster, no answer. It has taken 1/3 of a year to have a damage claim done for a busted tailed light. All that is required for my insurance is an estimate. They are a multi-billion dollar company unable to do simple and common tasks for a car rental business in a timely manner. They are still claiming issues due to the pandemic, but all other business are function at levels of pre-covid or better at this point. Summary: They refused service to me (to exchange a defective car with another) even though they agreed that by refusing service put me, they put my life and my wife's life in danger. When corporate office called them and pushed them to offer a car to me to replace the defective car, they took the keys and refused to unlock the car, and thus kept my stuff hostage, which forced me to call 911. The service at the **************** location is less than par. Two weeks ago I rented a car using my daughter's debit card. I am also on the account. I choose not to do credit. Only prepaid cards which don't work either. The assistant manager and Regional Manager, *****, were rude. They flat out lied saying I was allowed to keep the car last time. We had a confirmation with Enterprise at Hwy 6 and ********** in *******. When we went to collect the vehicle on Saturday, Sept. 24th, they were overbooked and the employees were indifferent. The manager, ******, left the building unattended with a room full of customers for over an hour without an explanation. When an employee returned close to closing time he appeared agitated and loudly called the customers "whiners."
