A periodontist recommended a four thousand dollar implant for my front tooth due to "external resorption." Other dentists I consulted with had mixed opinions. Dr. Englebrecht told me he would follow his own advice of "If it was my tooth, what would I do? He then told me that his advice was laser the gum back a little and see what we've got and take the most conservative approach possible. Dr. Engelbrecht had been described to me as the BEST dentist to ever graduate from Oklahoma University - after seeing the high quality work he provided for my co-worker, I decided to make an appointment. I have been nothing other than thrilled with the entire experience. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
The only negative I will add is Penny, his hygenist. I was under her treatment for many years but one day, I cancelled my morning app't. and the office staff scheduled me in later that day, when she would have normally been off. She took her anger out on my mouth and I was miserable for several days. I have never used her since and will never again. Dr. Engelbrecht has been my dentist for over six years. He is the best.
A bit more expensive than most BUT well worth it!!! I keep referring people to him
The hygienists are all friendly, doctor Engelbrecht is a great dentist, and all my procedures have been relatively flawless
The medical staff is great. Pay attention to billling though. I have had a couple of situations where they billed me for amounts I didn't owe (under $50) or were slow on getting me a refund on an overpayment. Nothing major and always resolved but you need to be sure to reconcile your staments from them with your insurance EOB. Not the place to go for discount dentistry but they do provide outstanding care.
I used to work for Dr. Engelbrecht. I have since moved out of state and I have not found a dentist that even compares. Dr Engelbrecht truly loves his profession and is a wonderful person to be around. His work is top of the line.
I've been to numerous dentists who were just "okay". At least, until I switched to Dr. Engelbrecht. Dr. Engelbrecht has great service. His facilities are just outstanding. They cater very well to the patient. When he visits with you, you have his total attention. He and his staff are careful to make the whole experience as painless and as enjoyable as possible. He keeps up with technological advancements in dentistry and I'm so thrilled to have found him.
