My name is Asil Albine, account number 4941921080. Today, I contacted EnergyAustralia to discuss my electricity plan, and there was an interpreter on the call. Unfortunately, the experience was very poor and upsetting. The interpreter disconnected the call suddenly, and the EnergyAustralia staff member I was speaking with was trying to pressure me into changing my plan. Absolute robbery, DO NOT set up a direct debit with these people, the system they have set up charges for 100% of your bill even after you've already pre-paid, I closed my accounts with them and owed the remaining, so I left the direct debit info for that amount to be taken, but they took the entirety of the previous bill (issues before hand as well hence moving to another provider).... Takes multiple calls and time for this to be resolved and refunded , extremely frustrating after being with them for years to come to this.
I requested to cancel my electricity and gas, they kept transferring me from one person to another. Last person I spoke to told me that he has put in the request to cancel. The services were still not cancelled after a week. Hopeless and horrible, that’s how you really piss off the customers to get 1.3 star rating.
I had two lovely assistants today that helped with lowering my payments. so very helpful and understanding of my financial situation. Big shout out to Lachlan and the lady that first assisted me with my inquires and request,
totally rubish i requested shut off gas as we went to fully electricity they said yes but keep charging me gas bill they totally ignore customer request
