Kim & the Empress Tea Room are special to me. I visit for high tea every summer, when I am out of school. When I visited for tea in August 2017, I saw a children’s book, “Shelby’s Tea Time”, written by Kim’s friend, Dallas Dixon, and dedicated to Kim and the tea room. What a beautiful and elegant setting! The food and tea selections were absolutely delicious, and the staff was attentive and friendly. Definitely going there again!!
First time visit and definitely some Heath code violations. Kitchen right by the front door. Kitchen door proped open no screen. Dirty Dishes and kitchen equipment outside on the sidewalk. Looking in to the open kitchen looks like a disaster. They were not prepared for our group. What should have been clean dishes on the table several were dirty such as cups and silverware. Kim and her team did a superb job for my birthday. They were incredibly accommodating and all my guests had a wonderful time! Would definitely recommend them! 😊❤️🎂🎉

My wedding was here in 2015. Beautiful room, amazing food, and they made us feel like family. If you have your event somewhere else you are missing out.
