Turning same sex couples away is not something that should be happening in 2019.... I would NEVER EVER use this place or recommend them to anyone
Discriminated against some dear friends for being a same sex couple.
If you care about and support the LGBTQ+ community, then I would recommend staying away from this place. A friend of mine and his boyfriend love going to this tea room so much that he hoped to book their wedding here. But when he talked to them about it, they said they don’t share the same views, but that they’ll be here next time he needs a cup of tea. No. You either support the community completely or not at all, and you don’t get to have our money in the process.
So disappointing to learn they love money, unless it involves them letting a gay couple get married here, then turn them away from using their facilities. But then ask to spend money any other way they can. Take your business elsewhere.
I used to love coming to this place with my lolita community. However, learning that they turn away gay couples from being married at their venue is extremely disheartening.

Kim and her staff are always so friendly and helpful.
We went for a Bridal Tea with a very large group. Pros:The atmosphere was nice. Kim was very helpful and welcoming. The food was delicious and fun was had by all. CONS: We were suppose to be able to set up at 1:30. The party before us was still opening gifts at 1:37pm. This did not allow us to even begin to set up till very close to 2, which our guest had already begin arriving.
