Do you serve interracial couples? Because 50 years ago it was common to refuse their service too. You're imposing the same prejudice on same sex couples. This place is pretty but fake and fill of prejudice and ignorance.

Denied friends a reception due to being an LGBT couple. Then had the gall of to ask them to come back for other services.
The amazing sandwiches, salads, and wonderful teas not only fill your taste for wonderful food and drink, but your soul leaves filled as well! Perfect for small get togethers or large special gatherings! Kim and her team go above and beyond with their service, kindness, and hospitality.
This business is actively anti-lgbt. They turned away a wedding party because of who they love, this is very disappointing.
A welcoming oasis of relaxed finery in the midst of busy Carrollwood. Beautiful atmosphere, beautiful food, beautiful staff. Have also been here for business meetings and social events - so well done!
We have to give The Empress Tea Room & Bistro an excellent review. It's perfect for a special date or occasion or just a relaxing lunch... we've done both! Kim,the owner, & her staff are friendly & very helpful in suggesting just the right tea. The food is fresh & displayed so nicely. They really made us feel special. Plus, so many beautiful items to see in the gift section. Couldn't pass up the pastries either! We were told that they also can accommodate private parties & catering.
