RecommendedTook my mother and grandma to this place what a great place. There food is excellent and so many choices with there tea. My mother bought some to take home. I recommend this to everyone. Also I got to meet the owner Kim she came to my table and was so nice. My son was with us and she gave him chocolate covered strawberries for dessert for free cause of his cute smile and it reminded her of her son. Love this place.
It's sad to see a business deny a beautiful ceremony to a couple just because they happen to be the same sex. It's 2019 and we should be better than this as people. I was looking forward to experiencing this place during their celebration, but I guess we dodged a bullet with this.
I am sad to say that despite visiting this business in the past and having positive feelingS, I cannot recommend it going forward because they turned away a local couple wishing to celebrate their marriage, simply because they are a same sex couple. Such a shame.
Had baby shower there and had best service and food. Kim and her team are amazing and always goes above and beyond. I would recommend not only their tea room experience but their catering experience.
I have attended numerous private parties and meetings at the Empress Tea Room. I have many great memories of fun times there. Kim and Michael were always great hosts who went above and beyond. Everything looked beautiful and clean.
The owners, staff are Incredibly hospitable, generous and accommodating. They went above and beyond to help us with our unique needs. The atmosphere is elegant, warm. Ive never had better scones in my life! Absolutely Exceptional service! I appreciate the faith filled environment, the laughter, the fun that permeates throughout the tea room. I highly recommend!
I would not recommend these homophobic people. They discriminate and shun people who are no different than them. This place deserved to get shut down!
Such an amazing place and experience! This is where we had our reception and it was the most memorable and treasured moment for us! Kim And her staff are absolutely phenomenal and I go there regularly even after my wedding! Great food great people great tea!
Empress Tea room always does an amazing job when I plan the Krewe of Girls 'n Pearls tea brunch. The ladies always rants and raves about how extravagant the brunch is. Love coming back again and again!!!
