I have been a longtime loyal customer. Ever since the name changed from Empire Vision to Vision works, it’s been nothing but a hassle. You can’t ever get an appointment to have your vision checked unless you want to wait a month or two. The fact that they can’t keep optometrists is very telling. So after about 20 years I’m taking my business elsewhere. After checking another well known establishment, They manage to get me an appointment in one day.
Thank you to the nice ladies at visionworks in Cortland- I normally go to wal-mart in vestal, I stopped in on Thursday to pick up some contacts, and much to my surprise the vision center was closed for remolding! They had no way of providing me service. So I was in Cortland and stopped at wal-mart with my Rx in hand- they were unable to help me as well! Ditto to what Jennifer B Tobias said and I was very upset with the hold place and demanded the money back with glasses and they said they could not do that either GRRRRR !!!! The manager Steve couldn't talk correct to us. I will never go back unless they DO NOT RETURN the MONEY then WAR !!!
ABSOLUTELY horrid! Been jerked around since 9/13/17! I will never step foot in this office EVER again. Very unprofessional customer service, especially CHELSEA BRAFMAN ( such a little SNOT) & Cheryl Bisbe! & This is as polite as I can be. The manager, Steve Cummings was NO help & lied directly to my face today!!!! They made 3 yes THREE serious mistakes and tried to put the blame back on me, the customer. Customer service sucks. Messed up my wifes glasses, 3 times, I have used them as empire vision for many years. Since they changed names, they changed attitude, they truly suck. Dont go to them....
To be honest, I was a bit skeptical when I walked in the door of my first Vision Works in Riverhead, NY. My daughter's glasses were broken and we needed them replaced quickly. (We were 275 miles from home.) The staff was awesome and we walked out with new, high quality glasses, within just a couple of hours later. My daughter is very active, and a little tough on glasses, so I wasn't completely surprised when the glasses were broken 3 months later. Well, I went there today with a prescription for my glasses and the lady was a bit rude. She rushed me through the sign in process and was a bit rude when she reminded me they closed at 7pm. I told her that it was only 5:56pm and that it wasn't going to take me an hour and 4 minutes to chose a pair of glasses! Also, is sounded like she was going to cough up her lung right there on the front desk!
