the rooms are so small and dark, that you need the light to see anything even at the day. the air condition was broken and the noise from the inner courtyard was so loud that it was very difficult to sleep. Never again!
Amazing location! The five stars go to the staff. The bartenders and doormen are wonderful, they take care of you like no other and give the best friendly service.
Great location and love having the huge Hotel Empire sign to get your bearings. Elevators didn't work, wi-fi didn't work, the air-conditioning was very uneven, the room was only moderately clean and it took forever to get the front desk or concierge to pick up the phone. In this price range, services should be far more effective. Will stay elsewhere next time.
This was my third stay at the Empire Hotel and likely my last. I booked the hotel for this trip via Priceline and was very pleased with the rate I received -- I thought I was getting a stellar deal since I (thought) I knew what to expect from this hotel.
