I have been a patient there since February 2016 I drive almost 3 hours to see my doctor.I love the care I receive when I go to Emory.
When you make a doctors appt the (DR) is never on time 1pm and it is 130 with the appt they give you for Dr Pickens and then he see's you less than the time you waited. They are never organized nor do they inform you of what is needed when you come in it is always a surprise. I'm here for a surgery follow Appt so I Ck in and they ask do you have your X-ray after waiting 20 min oh you need to have X-ray taken shouldn't this been told to me when when the appt was given. Now I'm waiting again then have to go back to see the Dr ... read more
We have used Emory Midtown (aka Crawford Long) for decades and I returned this week to the Emergency Dept. and then the General Population due to a severely infected cat bite. Everyone was truly excellent. There was a staff of doctors assigned to my case, the members of which all came by each day and explained to me what their concerns were, how things were looking and what the next plans of action would be. I was always treated with respect as a real person with questions and concerns worthy of honest responses and they wer... read more
The service is very slow. I have been here since 2330 hours Monday night and it is now 0527 hours Tursday morning. On top of this overly long wait, some of the workers are unprofessional, rude, and lazy! I had NO idea that this HORRIBLE, EYE ROLLING, RUDE talking worker is the patient advocate. Kathy is her name. This female should be suspended without pay or flat out terminated! I am a Wounded Warrior of the United States Army Military Police Corps with some serious combat injuries only to be talked AT by this individual as... read more
Great hospital. Wonderful staff. My doctor (Brenton Black) is the best.

This is the best hospital I have been in. My husband had open heart surgery Friday morning n they r taking very good care of him.. The Dr was amazing the staff who helped the Dr was amazing n all the nurses who took care of him n answered any questions we had was amazing.I thank God the Dr had a opening Friday because my husband probably wouldn't of made it to Wednesday with his valve not working. Thank y'all so much for everything!!
They took very good care of my during my out patient back surgery! I wish you had your own room because other people usually make me anxious, but they made it so comfortable for me, I hardly noticed. The anesthesiologist team was GREAT. Very comforting and great bed side manner. I woke up after the surgery, confused and when I asked where was I, the girl anesthesiologist answered, "We're at Harry Potter world!". Fantastic nurses the whole way through. I would trust them anytime with a surgery or stay.
The worst service ever seen been in the. Emergency for more the 4+ plus hours and then they have the nerve to say they are short on doctors and no room. This is the second time i come to this place first time I came with my wife that was pregnant 38 weeks back then they had us waiting more then 3 hours saying that we work off of how server the person is really pregnant women are not seriously important to this hospital
