Once you make it thru the emergency room, you will be alright, once I got to my floor, first the observation floor, but my main floor, oncology unit, I was treated very good, they took all the tests needed to diagnose my problem so they can fix it, even though all the staff was good, I had 1 tech on my floor at night which was great, this young man went beyond his duties to provide excellent patient care, with a smile always on his face, when I be released, I will find out his name and let Emory Midtown know how lucky they a... read more
Emory Midtown rocks it for medical care, patient service, doctors and nurses! Dr. Pickens, Shannon Lambeth are the best anywhere. They are so good and kind, they almost make you happy to have to see them.
My mom was in the Cardiac ICU and we had one on one care. We found that we had some very dedicated nurses. Some were kind of young and not as knowledgeable, but others were extremely knowledgeable and helpful. My only complaint was that the room was SO cold! I had to use a blanket as a jacket, while the nurses wore jackets over their scrubs. Crazy cold when it was 85 degrees outside.
I love how they pay personal attention to every little detail regarding your health and the situation at hand. They have some of the best qualified surgeons and primary care physicians that you could ever want. Even the Allied staff are beautiful people who care very much about your well-being. They go above and beyond the call of duty. I say that because not only am I a patient, my youngest son who is 20 years old and has never had an issue with his health decided to donate a kidney so that two people in his life could live... read more
It a great place. Did a great job with thw old man!
The ER seemed to be efficient the day we came in. The staff was thorough and had good bedside manner, with a slight exception for the overnight nurses. We were well informed and my sister well monitored. However the atmosphere was not up to par with the rest of the Emory system, imo. Of course the majority of the clientele did not help uplift the atmosphere. But I am glad for those clientele on medicare that Emory takes medicare, and they can receive the same top rated treatment that those with great insurance receive.
Fast check in and the only doctor appointment that you can count on getting in on time. In and out in less than an hour. More doctor office's need to follow their excellent service. They understand that my time is just as important as their's. Love Emory.
I went to the ER 10/17 check in for my injury at 2:55 pm was discharge at 6:15 pm. They took very care of me my service was excellent. Even when I had four surgery at Emory and took care of me back then. I have a doctor there too. I love Emory.
I was sent to Emory Midtown Atlanta, Four years ago for stage 4 Cancer. I meet a team of Dr. that explained what needed to be done. Was not a short story. In fact was a long journey. With my faith in God, I am still going. Seeing the best Staff ever. Still having to have test. Yes patience, Just wait a little longer . I just heard my name. I am truly blessed to be going back for my 5th.year. 2017.
