Everyone was very involved!! The medical staff was on point at this point...more to come.
The parking is a little crazy, but the medical staff were friendly and took good care of my wife.
If I could give this facility a rating it would be below sea-level in customer service...after an ambulance ride to the ER, we were made to wait for 5 hours and still waiting. A charge nurse was suppose to come address my concerns and never showed up. I contacted the hospitals administration staff and was told that I would be called back, I'm still waiting. I'm almost sure the level of service displayed at this facility is not in accordance with the Emory brand or the patient's bill of rights.
This was the worst experience of all. I get there the lady advise me to take a seat and fill out the form. Second I explained to her my child is here for a sickle cell crisis and in a lot of pain. Well when the nurse calls him back it states that he has mouth sores. Sickle Cell pain and mouth sores go figure.They noted on his chart he was at a three and not an eight. We asked the nurse for a blanket because he was cold she did everything under sun but he never got that blanket. Then his wallet was stolen while being transpor... read more
I can't speak highly enough about the hospital and staff at Emory - Downtown. Most caring and friendly folks you will ever meet while in pain. Super good food and lots of it, also.
