Acoustics – Five women could not yell loud enough to be heard over the din. They need to do something to absorb sound so that people can talk to each other. Not a good place for a romantic dinner unless you are just into staring in each other's eyes.
One of the best in Central FL! – I've eaten here at least 10 times over the past four years... Each time, with the exception of one, it has gotten better! Like many popular restaurant's in NYC (where I used to live), you have to know how to get a table, and what to order! Reservations are impossible to get for a w/e less than 30 days out... PLAN AHEAD. Best food/servivce on Int'l Drive – By far, the best food and service in the International Drive/Universal Studios area. Reservations strongly recommended at least 30 days out to get your date. We didn't, so we walked in and got a late lunch at 2:30 on a Wednesday. Very high praise for the attentative and knowledgeable waitstaff. The food lives up to it's billing. Yes, it's that good! Add $8 for Parking! – After paying $8 for parking and walking for 15 minutes from the parking lot, we were told that we had to eat in the bar because we didn't have reservations. Our experience improved with the good service and presentation of our food. The salad was decent. I would not order the seafood cheesecake again. It was bland and had too much cheese, too little seafood. The Gumbo, however, was to die for. Overall it was a decent meal, but I would not make another special trip--only if visiting the theme park.
Full-flavored fabulous food – A fun, upscale restaurant with aggressive, delicious flavors in the food. No Free Refills – My experience at emeril's left me wanting more!!!! The food was to die for the service was impeccable and the ambiance was great. The one thing that kind of took me back was the fact that I had to pay for refills of soda! First off it was served in a narrow hi ball glass full of ice. Secondly I feel I was over charged for it. If I am going to pay $100.00 for a meal, "Bam" throw in some free refills. All in all emeril's is great!
Simply Terrific – We celebrate 2 birthdays a year at Emerils. The food is always done to perfection. Try the pork chops. Almost 2 inches thick and well worth it. Also the chocolate souffle. Remember to order the desert before dinner. It is made to order. We will continue our tradition. Its worth the wait. Make reservations. You need at least 2 months ahead for the weekends
Awesome – We have been to Emeril's Orlando 2 times in the past year on vacation. It was "AWESOME" both times!
Tasty but over-rated – Stopped by during a recent visit to Orlando and while the food was decent, was a bit dissapointed. Perhaps the food was simplified for the tourist crowd at Universal Studios but there was no Bam in the flavor. Also noise and neon lights from nearby CityWalk bars were a distraction. A decent choice in Orlando but there must be better...
