Major Disappointment – Ate at Nola expecting bold flavors and cajun kick. My food was bland and under seasoned. My friend's was salted to the point she could not taste the meat. It was probably the worst meal I ate in New Orleans. Much more disappointing, however, was the service. There was a HAIR in my friend's drink and, though it was taken off the bill, she was not apologized to nor given a replacement. I will never dine there again and recommend you do not either.
Graeat dining experience. – The lamb ribs and the rabbit are superb. Try to reserve seats at the chef's table to experience the excitements in the kitchen. It certainly was a costly meal, but with the down to earth service and sublime food, this foodie was very satisfied.
Overrated – My husband and I decided that this was the perfect place as a Christmas present for our family of 8. Emeril?s reputation and great restaurants made it an easy pick for us. The service was very poor, even when two waitresses were helping our party. The restaurant was not full that evening and two of the items that we ask for never got to our table. WONDERFUL- will definately go back! – I live in orlando, and have eaten at almost every resturant we have! EMERIL's wasamazing!! we had 8 people dining, they brought us the BEST food and best drinks and had just the most amazing atmosphere. Manuels, capital grille, vitos chop house....they are all good- but EMERILs is amazing
Excellent bone-in ribeye – I had dinner here last Wednesday with three friends. We had the Ceasar salad for our appetizer that was prepared in front of us. We shared the sauteed garlic mushrooms, which was very good. I had the bone-in ribeye for my entree. It was flavorful & very good. The service was excellent, but the atmosphere & decor was subpar.
Bad service fair food over rated – My family and I ate at Emeril's a few nights ago and after driving more than seven hours I was expecting something really outstanding since it concidered one of New Orleans finest restaurants. I was disapointed. For starters our waiter seemed unusre of himself and was slow and unatentive. We had to make requests to him repeatedly since he often forgot the first time we asked. Not that good.... – I hae been there twice now, and haven't been impressed either time. Service was good, wine list was large but WAY overpriced. I had a ribeye last night, and the meat itself wasn't that good - and then they put some blue cheese on top of it to make it special or something - all it really did was make it not very good. ( and I like blue cheese).
BAMM BAMM BAMMMMM – this was our first rest for dinner on our first eve in good ol' NAWLINS! The best thing was that this was open till 10:00 pm GOOD GOD every one closes at 9:00 pm on a Fri!! The ambiance was very nice and the service was great! I had the special crab cake that was to die for and my B-F had the salad with feta cheese that was nice as well. One of my Favorites! – Delmonicos is one of my favorite steakhouses in Las Vegas. We go there everytime we are in Vegas. The food, service and atmosphere is truly wonderful. We order salad, steak, lobster, and sides (shared) and dessert. To some people is it a little pricey but it is very much worth it. I highly recommend the martinis and the Cosmopolitan is delicious! We also had a bottle of wine with dinner and was excellent as well.
