Tasty but over-rated – Stopped by during a recent visit to Orlando and while the food was decent, was a bit dissapointed. Perhaps the food was simplified for the tourist crowd at Universal Studios but there was no Bam in the flavor. Also noise and neon lights from nearby CityWalk bars were a distraction. A decent choice in Orlando but there must be better...
Your Dinging Journey Begins Here – Emerils offers great food at expected prices. There are soooo many good items to eat on the menu. I must recommend the fresh Stacked Salad. It is faboulous. If you like spicy shrimp, try the BBQ shrimp. There is something on the menu to please everyones taste buds. The only negative comment is the reservations! WOW, At least 3 months will suffice, even then that was limited.
A huge disappointment in dining. – I was looking forward to dining at this restaurant, but was very disappointed with the experience. The food was good (not great) but there's not much choice for vegans or vegetarians, which surprised me. The prices are on the expensive side, especially when considering the available limited choices and quality. Twice Emeril's deceived me – My friend and I were talked into getting the "Degustation platter". We were told that we both must get the meal. Since it said $60 and all of the other meals were about $30, we figured the $60 was a meal for two. Wrong. 3 years later (it now says $60 per person) I made plans to take my girlfriend out for her birthday and invited my parents. Not impressed – Not impressive. Too expensive. Not enough variety on the menu
Fab! – Emeril's is very romantic. The food is great and so is the service.
1 – This was the ABSOLUTE most AWFUL SERVICE I have ever experienced at a dine-in restaurant. Our server was attentive up until we placed our order. After our order was placed he NEVER came by to see if we needed anything or even to ask if we wanted to order dessert. Perhaps because our party of 4 was not ordering alcoholic beverages, our check wasn't as high as our neighboring tables who we could obviously see were getting much more attentive service. the one the only – My wife and I have eaten here several times. Good food. No, great food! The service was a bit off this last time, but I think it was a fluke. Make reservations months in advance, or you'll never get in! Our biggest complaint is that huge long walk through hundreds of sweaty tourists. Oh well, can't have it all!
Eclectic Dining – As a huge fan of Emeril Lagasse, I asked my husband to take me to Emeril's for our five year anniversary. It was a wonderful experience. We thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and the service. The food was good and the portions were overwhelmingly large. If you plan to eat dessert, don't plan to eat your entire entre. And..........speaking of dessert, it was superb. We would like to return to Emeril's sometime but after dropping $100 on lunch, it will only be for another special occasion.
