History Established in 1974. Elmer was born in Sonora, Mexico and came to the United States at age of 11. He grew up in Los Angeles area and started his work career very young. The first destination on the #chimichase2017 was a success!! Elmer's Tacos, in Chandler, had a flavorful, crispy chimi (you have to order a burrito and ask to have it deep fried). My last few bites were all tortilla, and you have to order sour cream and guacamole on the side, but the chicken was well seasoned and mixed with just the right amount of flavorful add-ins to make it delicious, and the tortilla was perfectly crunchy.
