History Established in 1974. Elmer was born in Sonora, Mexico and came to the United States at age of 11. He grew up in Los Angeles area and started his work career very young. Simple but good food. The girl taking our order discovered it was out first time there. So she had a sample plate of the meats, greens and red, brought out from the kitchen for us to try. Nice gesture. The green chili is delicious, with the right amount of heat which adds to the flavor. The hortchata and jamica drinks were great too. Really fun experience. Well be back.
We eat there after the gym, and they are always friendly. Great food!!!

One of the best Taco shops in all of Phoenix! Great people and amazing food! Prices are great. This is a must go to for anyone who loves good Mexican food.
It's time to expand!! This place is such a well known gem in downtown Chandler, with great food and a family atmosphere! The remodeling was well overdue & it looks great! My only suggestion would be to find a bigger location with more seating!
Great employees better food! The remodel is cool and I even like the big family table. I had Fish Tacos (exemplary as always) and crispy potato tacos delightfully topped off the meal. Elmers is � everyone should go!
Went here tonight for our first time!!! Great service and excellent food! Can't wait to go back! Went there for the 3rd time and had really poor service with 2 gals behind the counter, plus was told we couldn't order what we had ordered the time before? The guy who works there with the ponytail is awesome when he takes orders! He is fast and he has a great personality!
