History Established in 1974. Elmer was born in Sonora, Mexico and came to the United States at age of 11. He grew up in Los Angeles area and started his work career very young. Love Elmer's been going for years!! All these bad reviews on here are from people with no taste!! Sorry to say but true... bean and cheese is my favorite with the ever famous strips!! Yum!! Some that won't return to Elmer's that's ok cause they have great "authentic" fans that will continue to keep their business thriving!! Keep the yummy's coming Elmer's! Love you all!
I have enjoyed Elmer's since he took over the hamburger stand on the corner of Az Ave and Erie St... Always great food and every time I saw Elmer, he had a smile on his face... He is surely missed... the food is still great...
