History Established in 1974. Elmer was born in Sonora, Mexico and came to the United States at age of 11. He grew up in Los Angeles area and started his work career very young. Omgosh so many friends have recommended this place, so tried it for the first time and it was yummy! The breakfast burritos are huge and the prices are great!
Went twice in the last week, that sounds bad but elmers has the best Mexican food around! The best! Went with the Hubs the first time then the best friend cause we both love authentic Mexican food especially family owned. I love the tacos, carne asada burrito and the hot sauce!! All to die for! I will drive across town for this any day!! ������������������
Horrible cashier. She was rude, just wanted to get things over with. The food was old, the beans were literally dry. The chips were stale. Horrible place.
At one point they were closed on Sundays. So happy that's no longer the case!

Elmer's has the best bean and cheese burritos and their salsa is the best! I brought a half dozen burritos home to Fresno California this week because my family loves it! We always make sure to visit Elmer's when we are in the area!!

Well for starters they did not serve coffee... What kind of place does not serve coffee when your order breakfast and they don't keep black pepper, just salt... I'll be back, but I will bring my own coffee and black pepper.
I've been eating at Elmers since I was 19 that has been over 30 years!!! The food is amazing and the best Green chili burritos ever and he makes everything home made. The girls there use to feed my son French fries when he was two and he's 22 now and when I was pregnant with my daughter.I ate there 4 times a week my daughter is 19 now. Elmers niece came to my wedding!!! A friend of mine ran into Elmer outside the other day and my friend took a picture with him!!!! He will be missed!!! RIP !!! Elmer!!! We will miss you
