History Established in 1974. Elmer was born in Sonora, Mexico and came to the United States at age of 11. He grew up in Los Angeles area and started his work career very young. Great prices, delicious food & always busy.
We have had the dinner selections from here and loved them. We decided to try the breakfast burros and they were awesome. They were filling tasty. We had the bacon ham and a Mex and everybody loved them.
I’m an out of towner, and spent Taco 🌮 Tuesday visiting some of the restaurants in Chandler, Az. Elmer’s was far and away the best: Great tasting meat that was prepared perfectly. No “fillers” or fancy garnishes in their tacos 🌮, just the meat, onions & cilantro: What a taco should be!
Have loved this place for years. Best Mexican food ever
The service by the employees whom interacted with me was excellent! especially the guy who helped us at the register tonight. You have awesome customer service skills! However its been quite a while since we've ate at Elmer's and i can honestly say it don't taste the same. The rice and chicken tacos which I use to love had no flavor to it, the chicken didn't taste the same at all. Elmers Tacos has always been the best. Everything is great. Tacos, Burritos, Hamburgers, Fry Bread, rice, beans. It is all great. I absolutely love their weekly 5.00 specials.
