Elliston's owner hasn't changed the restaurant much since its opening in 1950s. The great food and service that made this famous also remain the same. Burgers and shakes are the standard here, but you can also get a good 'meat-and-three' meal as well. While this Nashville landmark was made famous by the movie, "Sweet Dreams: The Patsy Cline Story" starring Jessica Lange, its popularity with downtown workers and Vanderbilt University students is attributed mainly to its casual atmosphere and delicious food.

RecommendedHands down the best malt of my life!!! I've already tried to recreate their masterpiece of a drink and failed miserably. It is without a doubt that the next time I find myself in Nashville I'm going to have to stop in and sample more of their malt flavors! food was great too!

Genuine retro 1950s decorations with a hometown feel and the food was really good too.

Unquestionable the best breakfast we got anywhere in Nashville. Country Ham (real not just a ham someone said came from the country) perfect biscuits, Grits that were cooked right not made in to cream mush. True southern cooking with quality ingredients. If you can't tell I loved the place.
Great place to eat. Great shakes. Best coconut pie ever. The meringue at least an inch high. Friendly waitress especially Jamie
Great homemade desserts including banana pudding!
