I went for a checkup and it seemed to go fine. However, when my insurance had an internal issue and did not immediately pay, the Ellis Dental office pressured me to pay them directly. When my insurance finally paid, they REFUSED TO REFUND me the amount I paid and retained a portion of the funds. It also took many email follow-ups in the first place to get some of my money back as they were not inclined to reply to me at all. PLEASE STAY AWAY TO AVOID BEING RIPPED OFF!
I went to Dr Ellis due to a broken tooth. He said they could do a crown so I agreed. The first visit wasn’t too bad. They did overcharge me and I had to prove it through my insurance statement to get a refund. When I went to get the temporary crown removed and the permanent one put on, the technician had a hard time removing the temporary. It seemed obvious she had used permanent adhesive to install the temporary. She worked on it for over and hour when she finally went to get the dentist.
