First time at Ellis County BBQ. Friendly service. Tasty appetizer but all the meat were dry.

Waited at the door over 20 minutes to put in an order to go. Servers just looked at me and ignored me standing there. Feel uncomfortable anyway so I left, will not be returning 🖤 ever!!!!

Awesome attentive service always making sure in a nice way that the meal was to my liking. My sweet tea never went dry. Well it went way beyond my expectations and experience previously w Texas BBQ. The brisket was nicely smoked and so flavorful and tender. The ribs are falling off the bone and carrying a nice smoky taste. The pinto beans are a winner. And of course the peach cobbler was a fine finish to a wonderful meal. I’ll be back.
