Dr. Scherl was patient and answered all my questions. She is kind and very empathetic. She is an excellent gastroenterologist , interested in all of the patient and not just my gastro issues.
Dr. Scherl has successfully managed my long term complicated IBD treatment for over ten years when I moved to NY and my Boston based gastroenterologist recommended her as “the best”. She is smart, thoughtful, responsive, aware of new research, and very thorough. She listens carefully, makes connections, has an easy manner, and imparts confidence with humility - a rare combination. She has the highest degree of expertise in her field, and I am grateful to be under her care.
I have been seeing Dr. Scherl for more than 15 years. She is a caring, very knowledgable GI and has treated my Crohn's disease very effectively.

She is amazing!!! Very smart and friendly, super knowledgeable about GI. I have seen many GI’s for my Crohn’s Disease and she has been the only one to help me find a long term solution that works. Bedside manner is amazing, and she is always on top of my bloodwork and monitoring inflammation. Love love love her - she is just the best!!!
