Candace is worth your money (and then some)! – I decided to try Elle at the last minute b/c my normal hair stylist wasn't available. I had a wedding to attend that night and wanted a new style but didn't want to spend a lot of money. Such a disappointment and waste of time/money. – I called the other day to make an appointment with the owner, but she was booked until August, so the receptionist set my appointment up with another master stylist in the salon. I showed her a picture of golden blond hair with highlights and wound up with a grayish mucky color. :( In between the highlights, she used an ashy gloss to cut out the reddish color my hair was. Great with curly hair! – I have been going to Erica for just over 2 years now. I have very curly, frizzy hair, and Erica does a great job cutting, coloring, and styling it. I found Erica when I was looking for someone to style my hair for my wedding---I wanted my hair to look natural and curly, but still neat and styled (kind of an oxymoron with curly hair!)---Erica did it! Their Treatment Failed. What a waste of money! – The salon looks good, the stylists seems good. I went in for a Keratin Blowout and what the stylist proceeded to do was different from all my knowledge of Keratin treatmen ts. After the washing and blow drying and applying and straight-ironing, the stylist decided to wash my hair again. She said this was to get out the left-over chemicals. Better than NYC! – I've been going to Erica for more than 3 years - she's better than anyone I saw in NYC or Paris. I have very long hair and get full highlights which I like in the style of balayage... I want my hair to look natural, with the same kind of blond highlights I had as a child. Can't Live without Erica – I first started going to Erica almost 8 years ago after I had a really bad experience with another stylist and my hair was a mess. The day I met Erica she sat and listened to what I had envisioned my hair to look like and helped me make a plan on how we would get there. Travel from Wilmington – I have been traveling to Raleigh for more than three years to have Erica do my hair. I started out with her at Samuel Cole and moved with her to her own salon. She is incredibly talented and the entire staff make you feel so special. Erica has been very flexible with scheduling my appts and I LOVE the way she does my hair. Thanks for Telling me Where Edward Went! :) – When I found out Edward was no longer at Elle, I was so upset! Until I asked them where he went and they actually told me where he went! That was so nice of them and shows they had my best interest at heart. Although I'll follow Edward to the moon and back because he's the most amazing hairdresser I've ever had, if I ever need some hairspray or shampoo and I'm near Elle, I'll stop in and buy some!

Rachel rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! – I have been going to Elle since they opened and have always been happy with the atmosphere and service. However, since my regular hair dresser left, I was fortunate enough to find Rachel - and she is amazing!!! She did both my highlights and cut and I'm thrilled. It's not often I can walk out of a salon and not go home and redo my hair myself.... but this was one of those times. She did a great job and I look forward to going back!
