By far the best sushi in the west valley. The staff is super nice and knowledgeable about the menu. Sushi is a great quality. Tried another place here in the west valley and was dreaming about being at Kawaii the entire time! Even Togo sushi was deli should. The provide the ginger and wasabi as well as soy sauce in which was plenty. Still fresh and same quality eating at the restaurant or in the comfort of your own home. I remember when the first location on Happy Valley opened. We used to go there when we wanted Asian food or sushi. I prefer Kawaii over squid ink if I'm looking for my sushi or Asian fix, close to home. So I was super excited when this new deer valley location opened. Literally 2 min from my house. This place always kills it! I have never even actually been to their restaurant, as I always order through post-mates. However, even after riding in a stranger's car, it shows up still fresh and crisp. I always get a spicy California roll which is a sushi basic, but also a good way to judge this place. The first time I saw this Kawaii location, I did a double-take. Wait, isn't there already one of these just a stone's throw away? It's true, there is. But there's nothing wrong with that. I mean, just ask the Polish Room about the advantages of opening multiple locations in close vicinity. Seriously impressed! We weren't expecting how great this place would be. It has been a long time since I experienced the level of service and quality of food in a restaurant. We were sat and served quickly and had every staff member was friendly and helpful. We had the garlic edamame, hot mama roll, cashew chicken and my personal favorite was the Mongolian beef. Deer Valley Location: We just tried their other location on Deer Valley since I accidentally bought several Local Flavor deals thinking it was the one down the street from us. It was a good mistake. Although not as convenient of a location for us, the food seemed to be a step above their Happy Valley location where we are regulars. The Sales Consultants were an absolute pleasure to work with (Lacey and Michael)!! They were responsive throughout the design and build processes and are still assisting us when we have questions!
