This is a lovely Middle Eastern restaurant that we visited for lunch. The inside and outside sitting areas were quite busy, but we were able to get an outside table fairly quickly. My husband and I both ordered the Fatoosh salad and added chicken. It was served with wonderfully baked, hot pita bread and excellent garlic sauce. Honestly, while I have eaten fatoosh salads at quite a few different restaurants, this was the absolute best. My husband kept teasing me because I kept repeating "yum..."!! When an aspiring 19 year old teen foodie asks you where to find the best pizza in PHX is, you treat him to Pizzeria Bianco and provide a history lesson on PHX pizza. In what might be an unpopular decision- as delicious as pizzeria Bianco is, I don't think it's the best pizza in AZ (That crown belongs to Pizzicletta in Flagstaff), Bianco is undoubtedly the god father of PHX pizza. It's been almost a decade since I dined here last, and not a single beat missed. No wonder it's voted "best pizza in the USA". My kids and I spent a full day nextdoor at the science center and our appetites were intense. We were sat almost immediately and started out with their fresh bread and olive oil + added an appetizer of spiedini - fontina cheese wrapped in prosciutto and then put in the oven. So my wife and I came here on a whim and boy are we happy we did. We both had to try the prime rib, served with one side and we chose green beans/asparagus. The prime rib by itself is thick and juicy and incredible. But make sure you ask for the au jus sauce to go with it. The sauce absolutely compliments the meat like I couldn't believe. This place was so good that I went twice during a recent trip! The space was big and buzzing with customers with good reason. The drinks were delicious and particularly recommend the sangria and Paloma drinks. The salads are huge and when paired with a protein, they would satiate even the deepest hunger. The steak was well flavored and definitely was as listed on the menu! Would highly recommend for a reliable meal with good food and service!
This place is great for happy hour and they have TVs to watch sports or there's an area for intimate dining if that's your preference. I came in with a group & we were seated next to a tv to watch whatever sporting event we wanted which was nice. I was disappointed my Moscow mule came in a tall cocktail glass versus the traditional copper cup. Also, my mule was not the greatest tasting.
