Our daughter was a patient 6 years ago to have a shunt inserted in her brain. The first one failed and another one had to be put in after she spent 3 days with a drain tube sticking out of her head until the spinal infection was gone. No Hospital is perfect, the odds of having perfect visits every time at every Hospital is pretty much null. But, Children's came through for us and our daughter. I love the staff. Radiology, Pulmonary Dr Heather Moore and the Swallow Disorders Clinic staff is amazing. We spend alot of time here with my grandson and everyone we come in contact with is absolutely amazing and helpful and they explain everything that his procedures entail.
They where so amazing with my little one Serenity! She loved watching the movies while we waited for the X-ray results. She was upset by the actual cleaning of her wound but was all smiles thankin everyone as soon as her fingers where wrapped. We even got the most adorable photo of her beaming from ear to ear because "the doctors made it all better!" Thank you children's hospital!
Hands down the best hospital around!!! I love children's hospital in Denver, their nephrologist -Dr. Goebel is and continues to be amazing. I'm a nurse myself and deal with a lot of doctors all day long and Dr. Goebel still tops them all. We love you Dr. Goebel, thank you so much for all you do.
My daughter had heart surgery on Dec. 9th 2016. This hospital is amazing. A big thank you to the Cardiology surgical team (Dr. Jagger's), Nurses, Anesthesiologists, ICU nurses, welcoming team, and all the staff that took care of my daughter. You all are amazing. Our grand daughter was flown medavack to Children's Hospital from Grand Junction. From the moment she arrived the care she got was amazing. In ICU the ratio is 1:2. They treat mom and dad as well. She is still in ICU but we all feel so much better now that she is here. Thank you for what you all do each and every day.
