They make you feel at home here and all staff is exceptionally nice!!!!
My son had a severe scalding injury to both his feet 2 years ago. He had to be hospitalized for an infection after the initial injury. He also had to have skin grafts and several follow up appointments. The entire staff at Children's were beyond amazing every time! I am happy to say that he has graduated from the burn program with flying colors! We are so blessed to have an amazing establishment like this in our community!
My daughter was their an hour after she was born. She stayed there her whole life so 2 months. Most of the staff is amazing but 2 nurses. I was right next store at the university hospital cause i got super sick while i was there one of the nurse's didn't pay attention to my daughter she almost drowned she has to have a tube of air to help her breath and it has water in it at the bottom and the nurse didn't bother to check on her or clean it out. We have been to Johns Hopkins, Greater Baltimore Medical Center, Mayo Clinic, Nebraska Transplant Center and University of Colorado Medical Center. Children’s Hospital is a phenomenal place to get care. Not all of our experiences have been great, but overall the care and commitment shown far surpasses that of the other places we have sought treatment for our daughter. My Step-Daughter had an appointment today at the South Hospital in Highlands Ranch. I want to first start off and say that the care that my Step-Daughter received today was absolutely amazing!!! When we arrived at the Hospital we did not have his daughter. Mom was the one who brought his daughter to the appointment. When we arrived on the 3rd Floor. I am, again, reminded of why I avoid this ER at all costs. We've been here more than 90 minutes and have yet to see a doctor. My daughter and I were left in a cold room- no pillow or blankets for my daughter who is in a too tiny hospital gown because she vomited on herself in the parking lot. She's here for possible intussusception and in pain. We won't ever come here again.
I have been coming here for 13 years with my son John Bryce Turner . Dr. Ivy is the best doctor ever!! The staff is so caring and loving you can't ask for a better hospital or staff!!
