Not happy! We have Blue Cross Blue Shield and have a $40 urgent care and $100 emergency room visit copay. However, after taking my son on a Sat. for an urgent care visit due to a concussion received in football, we ended up with over $500 worth of bills. (a chat with a Dr. in a dark room, juice, and motrin is all we got for these charges) Children's Hospital bills it as some sort of outpatient hospital facility visit and dr.'s charges. Children's hospital has been a true blessing to our family! From doctors to nurses to the staff in general!
I am filled with gratitude as I sit in the sunshine looking out of baby Joshua's nicu room. Years ago, babies like him did not survive. The staff and professional at the highest level as well caring at the most personal level.

Very disappointed with our visit to urgent care after hours.
My daughter had a UTI. It was after normal doctors hours and call to our after hours pediatrician recommended that we go to the new Children's Hospital South Campus to their urgent care before it got worse. That was a huge mistake! Everyone there was friendly but they were so eager to bill exorbitant amounts for the so-called urgent care visit. A nurse took her vitals, the doctor pressed on her stomach and had her pee in a cup. They gave her a couple gatorades while waiting for the lab results. Nothing else. However, between... read more

I am super thankful for everyone involved with this hospital. You have made a very scary week a lot easier to handle for both me and my son. You guys know how to relate to kids in a way that makes a very hard time bearable. The pulmonary department is so great they helped me to better understand my sons asthma. Thank you all of you!
