Dr Groves takes the necessary time with my mother and has always provided great care.
My Husband started seeing her in August of last year, had cataract surgery on right eye Sept. 4, 2024, it has never been right, and she has given us all kinds of reasons why his right eye isn't right. He had a special lens put in and she put it in wrong and then told us she wouldn't fix it. Can't read anything with the problem in his right eye, even though they charged us $1000 out of pocket for the lens. Now she is blaming it all on Dry eyes. She told me that astigmatism and told me could fix it, if I was willing to pay an additional $1000 per lens out of pocket. I opted to go with her suggestion and had both eyes done a week apart. Now I can't read and still have a astigmatism is not in the proper position in the right eye, and she is unwilling to fix the lens. In fact, she has sent a letter telling me that she was no longer my doctor, and I could no longer call for appointment. She cost me my vision and the $1000 out of pocket expense. Dr Groves Egan & staff were very personalable & answered all my questions. I felt very comfortable & confident with the information she gave me after my exam.
I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Groves. She is professional, thorough and kind. She explains everything in depth which is much appreciated!

Dr Groves Listened well…explained well…was kind and courteous…three other times I had appointments for cataract removal with other eye Drs. But I backed out…Dr Groves gave me courage and confidence and I felt a peace and my fears fled and I trust her completely…her staff is top drawer too! She is doing both eyes and I am grateful God led me to her via a friend!
The staff was courteous and welcoming. My Cataract Surgery went well. No more blurry eyes and vision improved. Thanks to Dr. Groves. I appreciate you and your staff.
I’ve had glaucoma for many years, 2 surgeries 15 years apart. She noticed a slight problem and recommended drops to prevent additional damage. I’m thankful!
