I had a terrible experience having surgery with Dr. Lawson. She showed up late to my surgery and was eating a breakfast sandwich right in front of me while I was obviously starving from having to fast before the surgery. During the surgery, she decided to stray from the plan we had set for the surgery which in my opinion is totally unacceptable. I then had a terrible recovery - 2 of my incisions completely opened up and got infected, and when I called to have them looked at, the staff didn't believe me at first. It took me a... read more
Dr. Lawson is frank and upfront about your disease and treatment. I felt very secure in her hands.
Dr. Lawson took excellent care of me before and after my breast cancer surgery. She made sure that I was well educated pertaining to the procedure and after care. I have always found her to be compassionate and willing to take the time to answer all my questions. No problem getting an appointment when needed.
If Dr. Lawson and some of her staff knew the extent of the mental anguish they have caused my wife with their total lack of empathy and compassion, would they even care? I seriously doubt it. I would not take my dog to this practice, seriously.
I just cannot in good faith recommend this Dr. nor this practice to anyone. Unpleasant experience all around from the office staff not returning calls to the rudeness and bad attitude of the Dr. , her nurse, and the office staff. Terrible experience. ?? In all fairness I was warned before I went by another physician. Wish I had listened.
I was dropped by this physician for having to cancel an appointment due to unforeseen circumstances. How can someone that chooses to work with cancer patients be so heartless and cruel? Just being told you have breast cancer is devastating, and then to face losing a breast as well as facing chemo and radiation. It takes a caring, compassionate person to work with cancer patients. Dr. Lawson is not this person. I feel abandoned and such emotional distress ??
Dr. Lawson dropped my mom as a patient after she had to cancel her surgery for medical reasons. She should NOT be working with cancer patients!
I Do NOT recommend Dr. Lawson. I feel I was treated so poorly and unfairly by her. I am a breast cancer patient and I was scheduled for a mastectomy with Dr. Lawson on August 22. Due to unforeseen medical issues, I had to cancel my surgery. After multiple attempts to call and reschedule, someone finally talked to me and informed me that my Dr/patient relationship with Dr. Lawson had been severed. She is unfit to deal with cancer patients. The emotional damage I have suffered is severe.
I was diagnosed with breast cancer at 35 & was so scared. Dr. Lawson knew my scans upon my first visit & had a treatment plan in mind. She was down to earth & genuinely concerned with my well being. She & her staff advocated for me twice with outside offices to coordinate my surgery. They made me feel like I was their only patient. Now when I see her 4 years out from diagnosis, she knows me & my case and continues to be an excellent healthcare provider. I would choose her again in a heartbeat.
