I had an appointment with Ms. Washington on 02/17/24, and the only reason I went was because my mom was seeing her at the time, and we were looking for a permanent NP. During that appointment, which was meant to be an annual check-up, I had only ever had one partner, and I had been tested for STDs while in that relationship. So, I expected the visit to be routine.
