My 6 yr old had her first cavity filled yesterday. Dr. Scott Herring was great. Emily said his assistant Ms Lisa was very nice. We love this office.

The office staff is always so pleasant to deal with and helpful. Guiding me through my dental insurance questions with valued answers. My visit to the dentist on March 4 was about as good as a visit to the dentist can be! When I was 6 years old, I had 13 cavities - heavy trauma - and have taken very good care of my teeth since, but I dread going to the dentist. It gives me "white coat syndrome" and my blood pressure goes UP! I have always received excellent dental care at Elgin Family Dental. Dr. Herring always explains everything in detail, so I know what the procedures are. The staff are always friendly and helpful. I really like the e-mails and texts for appointment reminders. It's hard for me to answer my phone during the day when I am at work. So being able to reply to a text is very helpful.
Love my hygienist! She was great. Took her time did it right, provided all the details with costs included. Together we made a plan of attack that I could live with and afford. I have never met anyone so attentive. Thanks!
