it was great for my mother she had a great dental appointment
I arrived a few minutes early for a morning appointment and had only a short wait. Rachel checked and cleaned my teeth and was gentle with her tools. Scott Herring did the final checkup and answered my questions. I was done with the appointment in a short time (although I did not feel rushed).
Teeth cleaning is not something one usually looks forward to but at Elgin Family Dental, it is actually a pleasant experience!

I had a tooth get infected on a Sunday. Monday morning I called, and Elgin Family Dental was able to get me in that same morning! Thank you so much!
I love these folks, they are Elgin Home Grown" and are everything I look for in a Dental Business, Smart, Nice, Friendly and beyond those qualities, they treat You like you're spending $1M even if your having your partial fixed for $150 !!! I will return for sure when there are dental checkups, procedures and the inevitable tooth ache !!
The lady who did my cleaning did the most thorough, complete, professional and thoughtful work that I have ever experienced in all my years of having my teeth cleaned. I really felt like she genuinely cared about me, and the work that she was doing on my teeth. Thank you Cody Douglas
So glad to find a local dentist. My kids have gone twice now (I'm still waiting on dental insurance) and my mom went without dental insurance. Rachel is great with kids! She is very calming for them and asks questions about their activities, etc. Dr. Scott Herring is also very patient and pleasant. They don't try to push services on you either :)
Professional staff, with your comfort in mind. My family has been patients for more than 10yrs. Great with kids.
