For 48 years 11th Street Diner was actually located in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. In 1992 it was dismantled and transported to Miami Beach, where it received an enthusiastic reception. In addition to diner staples like burgers, fries and great milkshakes, the restaurant serves a variety of salads, cold sandwiches, chicken and pasta dishes.

Brought my family here for breakfast today. I loved the healthy options - I had the Tuscan frittata (delicious) and my kids enjoyed the fresh strawberries & bananas with their pancakes and French toast. Very attentive & friendly staff, great service, cool atmosphere and delicious food. This will be 'our spot' to eat every time we come to South Beach!
This was always my favourite Diner, and always the place to visit in South Beach. I don't know if appearing on Food Network has gone to their head but on my last visit the atmosphere had changed, the service was not good and a desert we were served was mouldy. The attitude of the waitress and the Manager was dire, unfortunately, never again will I be dining here, great shame.
