For 48 years 11th Street Diner was actually located in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. In 1992 it was dismantled and transported to Miami Beach, where it received an enthusiastic reception. In addition to diner staples like burgers, fries and great milkshakes, the restaurant serves a variety of salads, cold sandwiches, chicken and pasta dishes.

We heard about this place on the food network, and were excited to try it out. Unfortunately, it was pretty late in the evening when we finally made it there, and the kitchen was not serving the particular dish we had been wanting to try. As we walked out, after having heard our story, the owner stopped us and allowed his kitchen staff to cook the pork chops we were craving. That was the best! We are looking forward to going back here again soon!
