Is the best place for live music? Probably not. But it's certainly one of the best that Philadelphia has and it gives many artists a chance to make to sing in front of large crowds. Really enjoy going here.

The Electric Factory is not a bad venue. I been to quite a few shows there. If your not into tight spaces, it may not be for you. The pits can get pretty intense due to it's size and whether or not you wish to pit yourself you feel it none the less. The acoustics of the place can be a little iffy pending on the genre of music you see. Also, you have a high chance of meeting the band, as I've met most of the bands I've seen play there, most on accident. The only problem I have is with the security. I had brought an expensive ... read more

Queens of the stone age – Was having a great time with my woman enjoying the show in the bar area. Time and again I went to get us drinks and had no problem with the people around me letting me back in, cuz we were all having a great time. then this group of four guys decides 3/4 thru the main event that they are gonna step in and not let me through. between sets I'd try and reason with them to no avail. eventually I gave up trying to get my spot back, and just enjoyed the show. I thought everything was just fine but one of ... read more

Electric Factory Endangered my Daughter – My 14 y.o. recently attended a concert at the EF with a group of friends. My daughter started to feel hot and light-headed. Not wanting to bother the responsible adult, she went to the doorway to get some fresh air. A security guard approached her and told her "No Readmittance." MY daughter insisted she never left, and showed the guard her ticket stub. My daughter begged and pleaded, but the guard forced her to leave. My 14 year old daughter was by herself on the sidewalk in Philadel... read more

I love this place! – This place is great, i've easily been to over 100 shows there. The biggest thing for me is how cool the staff is with the juggalo crowd. I'm going to see ICP tonight there and I can't wait! The electric factory is one of the few venues that lets ICP throw faygo, which is awesome and keeps us cool since there's no AC.. The fact that they have a smoking area and let you get back into the concert is the best thing! I smoke a lot, and most venues won't let you get back in if you go out. Thats a big + in my b... read more

All Age Concerts not really for all ages – So I went to the Puddle of Mudd concert yesterday. It was awesome!! Everyone was having such a good time. I expect there to be bumping, hitting, jumping around, dancing, singing along, stepping on toes, moshing at any concert, especially when you're so close together and having a good time. But I do have a problem, not with people drinking, but with those heavily intoxicated who came in that way or had too many to drink there, or were just inconsiderate, obnoxious people who were so... read more

Fun and Nice Venue – I went to the Electric Factory to see the Take Action! Tour. The place is very crowded, which adds to the expierence. I did not check out the bar because I am under 21, but it looked nice with good views. The building is pretty cool, it being made from an old warehouse. Acoustics are alright and it does great pretty hot when in the crowd. Food and drinks and merch are easily accessable and are not too overpriced. There is not many security, except to enforce no smoking.

Thanx and praise – The Electric Factory was a good experience. I was at the EF this past weekend for the artist Imogen Heap. This was my first time there and I had no expectations going in. Prior to entering I extinguished my cigarette (Remembering the laws in Philadelphia regarding smoking in public places.) I proceeded through security which was extremely thorough and made my way inside. There is a small entrance area where they were selling non alcoholic drinks, food, and merchandise. Straight ahead the place opens up and... read more
