We went after the opening of bad moms movie. The drinks were just ok (and over priced) and the service was super slow. It was dead (because it closed in less than 2 hours)so it shouldn't have taken so long. I definitely won't be giving up my local joint for this place. Typical valley view restaurant.
Recently I had a going away party for my daughter which I reserved 40 seats downstairs for since one of the guests is handicapped and can't climb stairs. When we got there we had a table for 30 (10 less than I needed) and it was UPSTAIRS! Our handicapped guess had to sit alone, away from our party with her husband. The management told my friend it would be 20 minutes for a table when all of our party was seated already. Visited on a Wednesday evening, walked right in with no wait. Service was fabulous! Texas Margarita was fabulous!! Food was brought quickly, and it was a TON OF FOOD! The Texanos Fajitas for two is really enough for four people (and we are not light eaters)! Steak was very tender, shrimp was succulent! The only negative I would say is that the beautiful patio is in the direct sunlight in the evening, so on hot days it's a little too hot! We will definitely be visiting again!!
We enjoyed our lunch. The service was good, the food was very good, and the building is gorgeous. We will be back. I ordered Huevos rancheros. The red sauce was light with small diced veggies, the beans were good, and the rice was tasty. The food is different than what is in Roanoke ~ clean Mexican food comes to mind.
