They didn't even make the effort to buy good / name brand chips from the grocery store. My tacos ,with a meager portion of bean and rice, came in two cold tortillas which tasted like the HEB brand. I've had stomach problems since I got home from restaurant last night. Don't waste your money. Stay away !

Came here for Sunday Gospel brunch. Food was good. I am amazed that the food came out in a timely manner when they had more than a hundred people to wait on and feed. The waiter was attentive and in good spirits. Thank you El Mercado for the great music and good food.

Our waiter was a rude one!! He wasn't a good one that's for sure. My ticket was $14 and i handed him a $20 and he asked if i needed change back. Hmm yes i replied. Because you were not on point with your service is what i was thinking to myself. A guest of party ordered his plate and didn't to him for 20-30 min bc waiter claims another waiter took it. I made the comment that he shouldn't be charged and waiter laughed n said he will be charged. Party was outside.
