Reliably Good Mexican food in Los Angeles – All the other reviews have already said it. This place is the real deal. There is always a line and you will not find any tourists in that line. The imposing sign in the parking lot that reads "No Loitering, No dr*gs, No dr*g dealers" is pretty much a tourist repellent, especially after the sun goes down. Late night experience – Very authentic Mexican food for a late night treat. The breakfast burrito was excellent and make sure to load up on the extra spicy salsa bar. The sopes, not on the menu, are very flavorful and will be made upon request. A great value. You might want to brush up on your Spanish before you go.
One of the best deals in town! – I really can't say enough about this place....seriously! The food is great, the portions are enormous, the prices are SOOOOO cheap (Dinner for 2 = $5!) It's open 24-hours....so there's no need to try to satisfy your post-clubbing hunger with 7-11 food anymore! Really...try this place....I have yet to meet someone who didn't rave about it!
No Frills, The Real McCoy – If you want to experience a burrito the way millions of Latinos do throughout Central and South America, this is the place. NOT the place for a date, EGB is probably the most authentic tasting road-stand Mexican you can get in the US.
