Some waitress/ers could smile a little more but overall they are good. I go there because BEST CHIPS and SALSA in Texas. Love it
If you’re in dallas you MUST visit El Fénix Those from other states you don’t know what Mexican food is unless you’ve eaten here.
Bland food, hit and miss service. Nice decor but limited menu and real food tastes like it was prepackaged.
Great service would definitely recommend to everyone the margaritas are amazing and the shrimp quesadillas are to die for!
I I waited 10 minutes for some sweet tea and hot sauce the waitress came by after and then when we get ready to leave she brought me a sweet tea to go and said I sorry
My favorite for Mexican no other compares. Been going here for years.Only complaint portion size has been the size of a kids plate beans and rice. Have been skipping on the sauce on enchiladas a little dry because of that. Best cheese queso there is around! Otherwise would have given my all-time favorite 5 stars.

My birthday dinner...good food...nice waiter...free birthday desert, and...if you join the El fenix club ( free...12.00 free birthdasy dinner and "surprise"..AND...3.49 margueritas...actually...the best in town ...really!...Will definitely be back...and waiter (young) Jose is really nice..
My absolute favorite Mexican food, always consistently good. They also have some of the best servers in town.
