This is my favorite Tex-Mex place. I love the staff and the food. I love to bring my friends here, they see I have good taste. I'm looking forward to my next visit. They have a beautiful patio where they have yuppie hour. A place that's family for dogs. �
While the food was palatable, it was not what I ordered. Even after I repeated the order several times to the waitress because she apparently couldn't understand me. Then, she asked me if we wanted dessert. I said no, and she proceeded to bring me the sample dessert plate and explain all the desserts. She asked several more times through our dining time if we wanted dessert. She was a horrible waitress. No wonder I haven't been here in years. I should have known better.

On Sunday's you get a 20% discount if you have your church bulletin! That's a great savings. Chips and salsa are free with your meal as well. Their servers are friendly and the food is good. They also have gluten free items to enjoy!

The best and all the people who work there are so nice, especially the Manager Marcia. She's the bomb!!!! Love her and her love of animals.

My boyfriend and i stopped for late lunch yesterday and we had a great experience...service was great,food was great...i had avacodo enchiladas and he had a humungous burrito ! He asked for no sour cream or cheese and she put salsa on it instead.My avocado enchiladas were sooo yummy and he enjoyed his as well! We live in psl but go there whenever in the area!
Just had lunch there with 2 coworkers. The waitress was super rude and unfriendly. Got our checks mixed up and even gave us the books back wrong(couldnt remember who gave you what credit card)! The El Jefe margarita was not good at all! Food was ok but her attitude made us not wanna go back. Didnt even ask how our food was, like we inconvenienced her by sitting in her section. Believe her name was samantha?
We have been going to El Chico's since we moved to FL in 2006. Our girls grew up going and now our 2 young boys are doing the same! I can say with all certainty that my children LOVE "their" Mexican Restaurant!
