I’ve been to El Banquet on four occasions. First, I had their Taco’s. They were tasteless. It seems that they dumbed down their food for American Gringos. Second time, I had enchiladas. They too, we’re tasteless and extremely dry. The third try, I had their Chimichanga. No spice. It tasted like somebody’s grandma made the food as an American version of Mexican cuisine. Underwhelmed. RecommendedWe love El Banquete!!! If you are a stickler for cleanliness... eat here. We grabbed a late dinner last night... had the restaurant to ourselves. So we got to witness how they take restaurant closing/cleaning very seriously. Attentive staff, great food & great experience.
El Banquete is one of our favorite places to eat. We always have a great dining experience. The food is excellent and the service is exceptional. We always try to sit in Juan’s section. He is the sweetest and most attentive server. They’re all attentive and nice to the customers though. You won’t go wrong with any of them. By far the best Mexican restaurant in Claremore- hands down!
