I actually enjoy going to the dentist now (gasp!) I have been seeing my hygienist Julie, and my dentist, Dr. Katya for about four years now-- they are both wonderful. Even after I moved further away from their neighborhood, I still continue to make my appointments here, because they make things easy. Thank you so much for a calm and successful wisdom teeth extraction! The whole thing took only 7 minutes, and I felt completely at ease the whole time. I was very nervous about the whole thing going in, but Dr. Kayta and Irina put me totally at ease. And they just used a local anesthetic. Just wonderful.
Dr. Katya is warm, friendly, and gentle. I have never been to a dentist that has made me feel as relaxed. I was so nervous before my appointment. If I had only known how easy and painless it was going to be, I would have been coming to her all these years and then maybe I wouldn't have needed to get teeth pulled. I will have no problem going back for all of my follow ups.
That place is Freaking awesome! I'd go there even if I didn't have any teeth. They are professional yet personable and show a genuine concern for your dental health. To top it off they don't judge you. At least not while you're there.
I'm normally terrified of the dentist but I left thinking "That wasn't so bad really". Julie and Dr. Katya had a gentle and steady hand given how bad my tartar build up was. And they both gave me good feedback on how to improve my oral health without making me feel like I was being given a guilt-trip. I didn't feel like I was having unnecessary procedures pushed on me. The TV also did a surprisingly good job of distracting me during my cleaning so I didn't focus on my anxiety.
This visit was my first time at Village Dental Care and it definitely won't be my last. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with a smile which a lot of other offices seem to lack. My appointment was at 9 and I was called in 5 minutes earlier! TWO thumbs up! Chuck was the gentleman who handled my cleaning, great guy, he kept up a friendly conversation through the whole procedure and really educated me on how to keep my teeth in great shape. The staff and Dr. Katya are absolutely great! They make you feel comfortable. Everything that needs to be is explained to you so well that you feel at ease. I have joked that I have almost fell asleep during a deep cleaning and a crown work. Reason, Dr. Katya makes sure you are pain free. How else could I feel this way? Dr. katya was highly recommended to me by my friend, who said "She was really good". I am really happy I went to her! I wish I had gone sooner. Ten Stars!!!
Like most, I am not a fan of going to the dentist. A front crown came off-I had never been to the office and they were able to get me right in. I chose this office based on Yelp reviews and they were spot on! Very friendly, clean and caring! And much to my surprise I saw two familiar faces working there so I knew it was the right place! I recommend them without reservation!
Got a cavity filled and an old filling replaced. Went super quick, no pain, and overall was a great experience. I thought my previous dentist was great at what he did but Village Dental has, in the short time I've been visiting, greatly exceeding my expectations. Would definitely recommend them to a friend or family member.
